5 charming hues of the Changan CS15

The Changan CS15 entered the ever-competitive subcompact crossover segment as an attractive but affordable choice for people in the market for a small but comfy daily driver. 

It has a lot going for it in terms of features despite having a very accessible price. For instance, the Changan crossover has a decent amount of creature comforts and a wide array of safety bits. It also uses a 1.5-liter engine capable of producing up to 105 horsepower and 145 Newton-meters of torque, which is more than enough for its small profile. 

The Philippine-spec Changan CS15, however, has a total of five exterior color options available locally. So, how do these hues affect the look and feel of the model? Let us go over each color option to find out. 

Flame Red

The loudest and proudest color available for the five-seater subcompact Changan crossover is Flame Red. 

On the road, the said color will undoubtedly make the small vehicle more visible. On the other hand, it can also make the model’s black-colored exterior bits, namely its plastic claddings and A-pillars, more apparent to the naked eye. 

All in all, the red option for the CS15 is the one to get for buyers who want an attention-grabbing ride. To a degree, it also seems to be the “sportiest” option, at least when compared to the other subdued hues of the Changan crossover. 

Aurora Blue

While Flame Red is loud, the model’s Aurora Blue color instead gives the CS15 a more chilled-out look. 

Mind you, it is a deep kind of blue and is still a youthful-looking color. Otherwise, it is reminiscent of the natural splendor of deep bodies of water such as the ocean. 

In connection to the actual look of the vehicle, it can also highlight the black-colored bits spread all around the car. The model’s red-colored brake calipers, though, will pop out more due to their contrasting effect with the blue color option. 

Cosmic Grey

One of the more understated color options of the CS15 is Cosmic Grey. 

At a glance, it still keeps the vehicle’s attractive qualities, such as its black exterior bits and its character lines, visible. From further away, however, units using the said color may blend well with other cars, especially in the middle of traffic or a busy parking lot. 

Like silver, however, grey of this tone is known by veteran car owners for its ability to hide dirt and minor paint imperfections. To some degree, maintaining its shine and luster can be easier, as well. 

Billiard White

Billiard White is a bright color option for the Changan crossover. As most car buyers will know, though, white has been a popular hue for cars for such a long time. So, one can expect the vehicle to blend in with other cars on busy roads. 

On the other hand, the white color option for the model may be helpful in making it more discernible in low light or low visibility situations. The only downside is it won’t be able to hide dirt as much as Cosmic Grey. 

Galaxy Black

Galaxy Black is the darkest color option of the CS15. It is the one to get for those wanting the Changan model to be stealthy, elegant, and sleek. 

The said color does hide many of the model’s black-colored exterior pieces, save for its red-colored brake calipers. Otherwise, it emphasizes the model’s character lines and its set of exterior lighting fixtures.

To sum it all up, Flame Red and Aurora Blue are the ones to get for buyers who want their CS15 to feel youthful and lively. The other three colors, meanwhile, are suitable for folks wanting a more discrete but elegant-looking ride.
