The Kia Stonic is the South Korean brand’s entry into the country’s tightly-contested crossover segment. It offers its would-be owners a ride that combines the advantages of a sport utility vehicle while offering the ride quality of a sedan.

LX MT

The Kia Stonic LX MT serves as the base grade for the crossover. On that note, it gets standard features such as projector halogen headlamps, front fog lamps, and a black grille.

On each of its sides are fender-mounted turn signals, body-colored side mirrors, body-colored door handles, and black beltline molding.

LX AT

The Kia Stonic LX AT offers everything the five-speed manual gearbox-equipped crossover has, but instead uses a six-speed automatic slushbox.

Compared to the latter, the former offers more convenient driving, especially when traversing the tight — and oftentimes traffic-heavy — streets of the metro.

Style Edition AT

The Kia Stonic Style Edition AT offers a bit of added flair for those looking for a crossover with more character.

On that note, it does sport appointments like black 16-inch alloy wheels, a different-looking badge, and a sportier set of cosmetic upgrades.

In essence, it’s a Kia Stonic LX AT — just wearing fancier clothes.

EX AT

The Kia Stonic EX AT also share major similarities as the aforementioned LX AT.

However, it comes with with more upmarket features that might merit its range-topping status and the slight increase in its sticker price. These include things like LED daytime running lights, turn signals integrated on the car’s side mirrors, a grille with black and silver accents, chrome-coated beltline moldings, as well as chrome-coated door handles.

Inside, the Kia Stonic EX AT also offer a bit more than the LX AT trim like silver accents on its dashboard, a smart entry system, an illuminated push start button, as well as a single-zone automatic air conditioning unit.

When it comes to safety, this top-of-the-line variant boasts a more robust list of technologies like rear parking distance warning sensors, electronic stability control, hill-start assist control, and an immobilizer.
