Pickup spec battle: Nissan Navara vs. Ford Ranger
Contemporary pickup trucks are not just practical but extremely convenient and comfortable as well — even sedan like.
Of course, pickups come in handy if you routinely need to move large items, They're typically built with a sturdy frame and boast power that allows them to move heavy payload even over tough terrain. Yes, it's something that can also be a daily driver.
One of the best-selling pickup trucks in the country is the Nissan NP300 Navara, which is noted for its comfort and driving convenience. Another popular choice in this category is the Ford Ranger that is best known for its excellent performance and state-of-the-art road safety and convenience features.
The Nissan Navara and Ford Ranger both feature a spacious bed that can carry large equipment. Although these two pickup trucks possess rugged exterior looks, they both offer premium cabin comfort and convenience, especially in their top trims.
Both cabins are equipped with leather seats and a leather-covered steering wheel. The roomy interior of Nissan Navara is maximized by the highly functional storage compartments such as the glove box, door pockets, cup and bottle holders, and the overhead sunglass case.
Taking phone calls while driving should never be an issue with Nissan Navara as you can connect your phone to the vehicle’s audio system through Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth. You can easily manage your calls, as well as your music playlist, through the audio and hands-free phone switches on the steering wheel.
The Ford Ranger’s infotainment is also compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth. With the help of Ford’s Sync3 technology, you can control the vehicle’s audio system through voice command.
Under the Nissan Navara’s hood is a 2.5-lter four-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power output of 190ps and a maximum torque of 450Nm. The top variant is equipped with a seven-speed automatic transmission that can also be shifted to a manual mode.

The Navara carries some Nissan Intelligent Mobility features that provides driver assistance technologies to boost your confidence on the road.
