Sporty and smart: The Changan CS75 Plus

The CS75 Plus is considered Changan’s “intelligent SUV” as it is loaded with smart and innovative features that aim to elevate the confidence and sophistication in every drive.

Since the launch of its first generation at the 2013 Guangzhou Auto Show and the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Changan CS75 Plus has constantly impressed car enthusiasts. Its latest edition, which was unveiled at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show, was highly recognized at the 2019-2020 International CMF Design Awards in China for its promising quality of “innovation, aesthetics, functionality, landing stability, environment protection, and emotion.”

The Changan CS75 Plus features a muscular exterior look with lustrous aluminum embellishments and a body paint technique that embodies a "vigorous illusion." The compact SUV is installed with LED headlamps with daytime running lights, LED tail lamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a panoramic sun roof.

Once you get inside, you will be greeted by a seven-inch digital instrument cluster that displays easy-to-read vehicle data. Located on its right is the 12-inch touchscreen multimedia system with AM/ FM radio, audio and video playback, and smartphone connectivity through the Easy Connection mobile app. It can also display the viewpoint of 360-degree camera that is installed on the vehicle. This driver assistance feature serves as a guide in parking, turning, and backing up safely.  The steering wheel is also mounted with control buttons for easier management of the audio system and phone calls while driving.

The CS75 Plus does not limit its premium features to the driver. Changan assures that the passengers can enjoy the superior comfort that is provided by the vehicle’s cozy Nappa grain leather seats. The SUV’s red and black interior trim also lends a sporty appeal to the the cabin. The interior design, which denotes speed and passion, takes inspiration from the famous Nürburgring race track in Germany. To add a luxurious to the interior, the vehicle is also designed with chrome ornaments.

For enhanced comfort, the Changan CS75 Plus uses an automatic air-conditioning system to ensure that coolness is experienced in every corner of the cabin. What makes it exceptional is the certified PM0.1 grade compound anti-bacterial and anti-viral air filter that attains 97.7% filtration of 0.3-micron particles.  With this quality of filtration system, the vehicle’s safety level is equivalent to that of an N95 mask.

The CS75 Plus is equipped with an engine push start/stop button with an engine remote start function that lets the driver warm up the engine and start the air-conditioning system even outside the vehicle.

The SUV’s outstanding road performance is enabled by a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine that delivers a maximum power output of 178ps and a maximum torque of 265Nm. The engine is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. The driver can also select among the vehicle’s three drive modes: Eco, Normal, or Sport.

To guarantee the protection of every occupant, the CS75 Plus is equipped with a six-airbag system. It also features intelligent safety technologies such as traction control system (TCS), electronic stability control (ESC), hill hold control (HHC), hill descent control (HDC), electronic parking brake, a 360-degree panoramic camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
