These are the all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQ models in PH

As the world transitions towards a more sustainable future, Mercedes-Benz has embraced the electrification movement with the EQ line.

Each vehicle in the EQ lineup offers its own unique features, design elements, and performance capabilities, catering to different preferences and needs of those for a luxury electric vehicle.

Just recently, Mercedes-Benz launched three EQ nameplates in the Philippines: the EQA, EQB, and EQE. 

Let’s look into the details of these remarkable electric vehicles and see how they can contribute to the future of driving innovation.

Mercedes-Benz EQA

The Mercedes-Benz EQA is a compact electric sports utility vehicle (SUV) that perfectly combines style, practicality, and efficiency. With its sleek design and compact dimensions, the EQA is perfect for zipping around the city.

It stands out with the bold Mercedes-Benz logo proudly displayed on its front grille and distinctive LED headlights with EQ-specific energy blue element. It is fitted with 19-inch five spoke aerodynamically optimized light alloy wheels. The compact size of the EQA gives it a sporty and agile appearance, making it perfect for urban adventures.

The cabin of the Mercedes-Benz EQA is designed with both style and comfort in mind. The futuristic interior features premium materials and a minimalist design that creates a sense of serenity and tranquility. Comfort is guaranteed by the Thermotronic automatic climate control and ambient lighting. The EQA is also equipped with a digital cockpit powered by the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system, allowing the vehicle to be connected to  a smartphone through Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Power comes from the state-of-the-art electric powertrain that delivers 190 horsepower (hp) and 385 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. With its instant torque and smooth acceleration, you will surely experience an exhilarating driving experience every time you hit the accelerator.

When it comes to safety, the Mercedes-Benz EQA does not disappoint. It's packed with advanced safety features such as active lane keeping assist, active brake assist, active blind spot assist, and a reversing camera.

The Mercedes-Benz EQA is priced at P3.99 million.

Mercedes-Benz EQB

The EQB is another newly launched electric SUV from Mercedes-Benz Philippines, but this one offers a bit more room and versatility. With its spacious interior, the EQB is perfect for families or anyone who needs a little extra space.

Just like the EQA, the Mercedes-Benz EQB features a muscular and confident design embellished with LED taillights, black panel grille, and 19-inch five-spoke light-alloy wheels.

The EQB offers three-row seating, with easily foldable third row seats. It is equipped with the same comfort and tech features as the EQA.

Another similar feature between the EQA and the EQB is the electric powertrain that delivers plenty of power and torque. The EQB has the performance capabilities to handle city and highway driving with ease.

It is also loaded with cutting-edge technology safety features such as active lane keep assist, active steering assist, and active brake assist.

The Mercedes-Benz EQB retails for P4.19 million.

Mercedes-Benz EQE

The Mercedes-Benz EQE takes luxury electric vehicles to a whole new level. This sleek sedan offers the perfect blend of elegance and cutting-edge technology. With its smooth, aerodynamic design and refined interior, the EQE is a true head-turner. Plus, it is packed with all the latest features and tech goodies to make your driving experience truly exceptional.

In the Philippines, Mercedes-Benz offers two EQE models: the 300 Electric Art and 350+ AMG Line.

From its sleek profile to its unique lighting elements, the Mercedes-Benz EQE sets the standard for luxury electric sedans. Its black panel radiator grille features finely drawn Mercedes stars. The EQE is also equipped with digital light, which adapts the illumination to the lighting, traffic, road, and weather conditions. It is fitted with 20-inch five-twin-spoke light alloy wheels.

Sporty AMG genes are incorporated into the styling of the AMG Line model. It is designed with AMG-specific front bumper, rear apron, and alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Mercedes-Benz EQE comes with plush leather seats, split-folding rear seats, ambient lighting, multifunction sports steering wheel, 12.8-inch OLED central display, heads-up display, and 15-speaker Burmester 3D surround sound system. The top-of-the-line model also comes with AMG floor mats and sport seats.

Under the hood of the EQE 300 Electric Art is an electric motor that produces 245hp and 550Nm of torque. It is paired to an 89-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery that allows the vehicle to reach up to 621 kilometers (km).

Meanwhile, the electric motor of the EQE 350+ AMG Line delivers 292hp and 565Nm of torque. With its 90.56kWh battery, this model has 682km of range.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE takes safety to a whole new level. With its state-of-the-art safety systems, including the active steering assist, active blind spot assist, active lane keep assist, attention assist, and the Presafe system, you can drive with confidence knowing that you are protected from all angles.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE 300 Electric Art is priced at P5.59 million, while the 350+ AMG Line retails for P6.29 million.
