2015 September Sales Report: Honda and Ford Gets Decent Market Share
MANILA: September is over, and so again comes the evaluation time. For now we have sales data of two companies; Ford and Honda, both of which performed fairly well and down under you will get the complete detail of the same. First we will talk about Honda that showcased growth in sales figures when compared to the same month last year.
Honda Sales Report -
- In all the company sold 14,260 vehicles from year start till date, indicating towards a seven percent sales growth from January to December 2014.
- September month recorded a total sale of 2,093 cars, again 54 percent growth over last year same month.
- Model wise segregation says that City sold as any as 920 units, making September the highest selling month for the 4th generation City from its launch in 2014.
- The all-new Mobilio also showcased highest sales record yet with 547 units. That brings a 49 percent growth over the previous month.
- The MPV segment contributed a generous share of 26 percent in the September sales figures.
A word from Honda -
Toshio Kuwahara, HCPI president and General Manager said, “September definitely represents one of the best-selling months for Honda in quite a while. Our new models played a vital part in widening Honda’s appeal to Filipinos. We are ecstatic to be able to see more customers enjoying their new Honda vehicles. This makes HCPI’s 25th year anniversary even more memorable”
Also, the company attributed its success to the recent launches and the easy financing schemes on offer. In addition, it said that its Euro 4 certification helped it a great deal in achieving this brilliant mark.
Ford Sales Report -
- As per what we know till date, Ford looks like leading the sales race. In total the company sold 3,065 units in September.
- With its September success, 2015 Q3 became the best ever quarterly period for Ford.
- There has been a 10 percent growth over the last year Q3 performance.
- All-new Everest contributed a total of 1,341 units in total sales.
- Ford attributed its success to the increased demand of cars like all-new Everest, Ranger EcoSport, and Fiesta.

The victory was also attributed to its long chain of 40 dealerships, to which recently was added the Puerto Princesa, Palawan dealership under the AutoHub Group.
