2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV unveiled at the CES 2016
MANILA: CES 2016 is witnessing a unique trend in the automobile sector with the introduction of amazing technologically advanced vehicles. Many premium automotive brands like BMW have already showcased its futuristic concept cars in the show. With the BMW i3 Concept also, the company aims to provide future technologies and innovations with their all electric module that can enhance the driving experience to a new extent. Now, Chevrolet has successfully unveiled its all-electric 2017 Bolt EV. The company aims to introduce this vehicle in the mass market production line-up soon and push zero-emissions. The automaker claims that the new Bolt EV is capable of travel 200 miles on a single fully charged battery.
General motors has introduced this model against the Tesla Model S in order to figure out the similar power and design accent. GM aims to make more affordable all-electric and zero-emission models in the near future. The interior of the new Bolt EV is upmarket and offers outstanding interface. The centre console gets a 10.2-inch touchscreen enabled with MyLink feature. The navigation system provides a complete precise information about the terrain and locations. GM has also revealed that the touchscreen comes integrated with GM's OnStar 4G, which transforms it to a dedicated WiFi hotspot.
The company spokesperson released a statement that the 2017 Bolt EV promises to offer four facilities: affordable price, efficient travel range, seating arrangement for four adults, and wireless internet connectivity. Additionally, it also offers merging with MyChevrolet app, which provides charge status, Map service, Service schedule, and interior HVAC preconditioning. However, the prices of the new Bolt EV haven’t been revealed yet. The company has confirmed that the model will hit the production line by the end of 2016.
