For the diesel devotees, Mazda is offering the all-new sedan with a diesel engine as well,

which is a 2.2-litre turbodiesel motor capable enough of churning out a maximum power of 187 hp at 4,500 rpm and 450 Nm of peak torque at 2,000 rpm. Both the gasoline- and diesel-fed motors come mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Other mechanical bits on the sedan include MacPherson-strut/multilink suspension setup along with ventilated discs up front and solid discs in the back.

The Six is a safe saloon

The pre-facelift model of the Mazda 6 Sedan boasted a 5-star safety rating by Global NCAP. And there is no reason for the newer model to comprise on the safety front, is there? With that said, the 2019 Mazda 6 Sedan gets six SRS airbags, heads-up display, ABS with EBD, brake booster, brake assist, traction control, cornering stability, g-vectoring, blind-spot monitoring, and front & rear parking sensors with a 360-degree camera.
