2019 Nissan NV350 Urvan gets a taste of Autech

MANILA: Autech is known for giving Nissan cars some sporty and spicy updates, both inside and out. However, one would say that these customisations must be limited to sedan and hatches. But what if we tell you that Autech has come up with a customised 2019 Nissan NV350 Urvan?

You’ll probably start scratching your head, won’t you? While the NV350 Urvan might be built for transporting people and cargo from one place to the other, there is no denying to the fact that there is no harm in having an attractive van.

Called the Rider appearance package, the customised suite gives the NV350 Urvan an all-around body kit. The kit comprises of side skirts, rear bumper kit, and a deeper apron. All this create an illusion that the modified Urvan rides lower than the stock van.

The ‘V-Motion' grille has also made way for a slatted unit that provided the van with a bolder appearance. There is no Nissan logo to be seen on the front grille as the brand’s emblem makes an appearance on the tailgate only.

Unlike the standard van that gets steel-pressed wheels, the NV350 Rider rides on 15-inch alloys. Other changes include a pair of LED DRLs residing beside the fog lamps and an optional rear spoiler.

Barring a few trim pieces, most of the interior is more or less the same as before. There is leather on the steering wheel, and door trims along with water-resistant seats which should prove a great addition.

While there are no mechanical changes whatsoever, it is good to see Nissan playing around even with vehicles like the 2019 NV350 Urvan. In the Philippines, the Nissan NV350 Urvan is powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that makes 129 PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 356 Nm.
