2020 Audi Q3 has landed on the Philippine shores
MANILA: Following the arrival of its siblings Q2, Q5, Q7, and Q8, the 2020 Audi Q3 has, at last, made it to the Philippines. In its newest iteration, the 2020 Audi Q3 sits right between the Q2 and the Q5.
Moreover, the all-new Q2 also completes the German automaker's SUV lineup in the Philippines. Taking inspiration from its other siblings such as the Q8, Q5, and others, the Q3 packs in a quite enticing appearance. While the front end of the SUV is bestowed by the likes of a wider than before Singleframe grille, which is flanked by a pair of slim headlamps with built-in DRLs.
With a wheelbase of 2680 mm (+77 mm), the 2020 Audi Q3 stands 4485mm long, 1856 mm wide, and 1585 mm tall. While the German luxury SUV is now 100 mm longer and 25 mm wider than before, it is shorter by 23 mm. Moving on to the side profile of the SUV, major contributors remain to be the large alloy wheels, roof rail, moderate cladding, and blacked-out B- and C-pillars.
On the inside, there's Audi's Virtual Cockpit. Courtesy of the same, the 2020 Audi Q3 sports a fully-digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes equipped with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and other connectivity features.
For the Philippines, powering the 2020 Audi Q3 is a 1.4-litre four-pot turbocharged motor that is capable of generating 150 PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 250 Nm. There is no Quattro all-wheel-drive and it is a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends the power to the wheels. Just in case you're wondering, yes, this is the same engine that resides under the hood of the Audi A4 as well.
The 2020 Audi Q3 will lock horns with the likes of the BMW X1, Lexus UX, and the Mercedes-Benz GLA in the Philippine automobile market.
