2020 Mazda 3 grabs the Kids Design Award in Japan
MANILA: Every automobile enthusiast admires the design language of Mazda cars. But, have you ever known that the KODO Design philosophy followed by Mazda cars not only provides them with spectacular looks but also enhances the overall strength of the car. Thanks to the very design, the 2020 Mazda 3 has clinched the Kids Design Award in its homeland, Japan.
The newest iteration of the Mazda 3 won the award majorly because of its enhanced front visibility that protects children from front blind spots. Various criteria that the Kids Design Award takes into consideration include excellence in products, spaces, and services that apprehend three different design legations: Children can live safely, Children can grow up sensibility and creatively, and Create a society where children can be born and raised.
The jury consisted of personalities from various verticals including sports, academic, media, and distinct industries. All the members praised both the 2020 Mazda3’s A-pillar shape and the side rearview mirrors, which enhance the visibility. Also, the new pair of wipers received credit for quick and wide washing of the windshield. Speaking more about the new design of the wipers, the arms now feature integrated washers and fold down below the hood line. The new setup not only improves the performance but also annuls poor visibility that incurs with the conventional wiper-washer setup.
