2023 Honda Fit line sees redesign and new RS variant

MANILA: The fourth generation Honda Fit (a.k.a Jazz), which went on sale in February 2020, has garnered positive reviews for its practicality. It was designed with the idea of "being near to people's lives" and superior driving capabilities.

This year, Honda has altered the design of each type in this minor model update to emphasize the uniqueness of each type even more, and a new kind called "RS" that places a priority on driving quality has been newly established.

Additionally, the "e:HEV" two-motor hybrid system has improved the response of the accelerator and boosted the motor's maximum output. Through forceful and reliable driving in a range of daily settings, Honda intended to give customers a sense of connection with the vehicle.

There are now five Honda Fit models for 2023.

The Honda Fit Home Type offers comfort and style, the Honda Fit Basic Type is straightforward and distinctive, and the Honda Fit Luxe is fashionable.

The Fit's front nose has altered in shape to seem neater, the upper grille's position has been increased, and the Fit Home and Luxe now feature a horizontal ornamental line made of plated metal above their grilles.

Serving as the fourth Fit type, the 2023 Honda Fit Crosstar caters to weekend getaways and active lifestyles. It highlights the crossover resemblance by being built with durable gear.

Last but not least, a type that is more concerned with design and driving quality is the 2023 Honda Fit RS.

The use of an exclusive front grille, front bumper, side sill garnish, rear bumper, rear spoiler, and aluminum wheels emphasizes the sportiness.

Additionally, Honda has implemented an RS-specific suspension that relentlessly pursues performance to reduce body shaking on bumpy routes.

The goal was to accomplish both a high-quality, thrilling ride as well as the joy of driving, in which the driver's actions and the behavior of the automobile are comfortably linked in a range of settings.

The 2023 Honda Fit e:HEV RS has three drive mode switches (Normal, Sport, and Econ) to accommodate different driving tastes, as well as a deceleration selector that enables drivers to choose the deceleration force in four stages when the accelerator is disengaged.

There is also a gasoline version of the RS, and it will be unveiled in November.
