All-new 2023 Toyota Wigo Facelift launched in the Philippines

MANILA: The all-new 2023 Toyota Wigo has finally made its way to the Philippines with a bolder look, improved driving platform, and more features.

The new Wigo 2023 is offered in three variants - J, E, and G. The variant-wise price list is as follows -

Toyota Wigo 2023 Design

The 2023 Toyota Wigo underpins the advanced Daihatsu New Global Architecture that promises superior handling, improved comfort, and increased interior space.

Dimensionally, the new Wigo is bigger and wider than its predecessor. It now measures 3760 mm in length, 1655 mm in width, and 1515 mm in height. 

New Toyota Wigo 2023 Specs

All the variants of the hatchback are powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine that delivers a maximum power of 67 hp and a peak torque of 89 Nm. The base-spec J variant comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission while the mid-spec E and top-spec G get a new CVT gearbox. Toyota claims the new transmission helps in enhancing power delivery and improving fuel economy.

In terms of features, the top-spec Wigo trim comes kitted with the following bits -

• 8-inch display audio (ready for Apple Carplay and Android Auto)
• Smart keyless entry
• Push start ignition system
• Six-way manually adjustable driver seat
• Electronic power steering

Inside the All-New Wigo facelift, both drivers and passengers are welcomed by a redesigned interior that boasts an array of premium features. The steering wheel has been thoughtfully updated to provide a more ergonomic grip, enhancing the overall driving experience. The dashboard showcases a refined aesthetic with the use of high-quality materials, elevating the cabin's ambiance to a more upscale level. An impressive addition is the integration of an eight-inch infotainment screen, which offers enhanced connectivity options including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (available for E and G variants). Toyota Motor Philippines offers the updated hatchback in several exciting colour tones, including Red Mica Metallic 2, Orange Metallic 3, Yellow SE, Silver Metallic 4, Gray Metallic and White 2 colours. 

The sales of the new Toyota Wigo will commence on July 17, 2023, across the nation.
