3 Nissan 370Z variants now available from P2.779-M
MANILA: It was supposed to be here last April, but the lockdown due to the pandemic derailed Nissan Philippines’ plans.
Now, finally, the two-door, two-seater Nissan 370Z – considered the sibling of the GT-R with its sleek, low roofline for enhanced aerodynamics; and a low center of gravity and short wheelbase for quicker response and better handling – is here.
Under the hood is Nissan’s award-winning VQ37 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine that develops 332ps and 363Nm of torque. Nissan mates this with “the world’s first” SynchroRev matching system, for the six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed automatic transmission with magnesium paddle shifters and Downshift Rev Matching feature. The 370Z also has sport-tuned shock absorbers, sport brakes, limited slip differential, and a carbon fiber composite Driveshaft.
The Nissan 370Z Nismo’s output is enhanced with an exclusive Nismp dual exhaust system for 344ps and 371Nm. The power plant is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission with Black Magnesium paddle shifters. The variant also boasts features a Nismo strut tower brace for better body rigidity and performance dampers for improved handling.
The 370Z has bi-xenon HID projector headlamps and LED daytime running lamps, and runs on 19-inch forged-alloy wheels by Rays. It sports dual exhaust outlets and a sleek rear spoiler.
In the cabin, the vehicle features a driver-focused cockpit with four-way power adjustable sport seats, triple meter, eight-speaker Bose sound system, push start/stop button, and sports pedals.
“Indisputably, the Nissan 370Z is one of the most beloved vehicles for enthusiasts in the world, and now it’s here,” said Nissan Philippines President and Managing Director Atsushi Najima in a release. “The Nissan 370Z provides a truly authentic Japanese sports car experience to our customers. We cannot wait for our Filipinos to enjoy ultimate rush driving experience as we enter the new normal.”
The Nissan 370Z Premium is available in both six-speed manual transmission and seven-speed automatic transmission, priced at P2.779 million and P 2.879 million, respectively; the Nissan 370Z Nismo is priced at P 3.888. The 370Z is available in select dealerships nationwide.
