The examples' initial batch will be delivered by January 2025.Taking the spotlight at its booth, Nissan Philippines said that the sports car offering celebrates 40 years of the NISMO heritage.
Giving the aforementioned Japanese sports car its distinct look from the standard version are its aerodynamic front and rear bumper, 19x10 Dark Gray alloy wheels as well as its Recaro seats.
Under the Nissan Z’s track-ready option is the NISMO-tuned VR30DDTT engine combined with Sports+ drive mode that delivers a more engaging experience.
According to the Japanese automaker’s arm in the country, the all-new Nissan Z NISMO is offered in a range of colors — including Stealth Pearl Gray and Passion Red — and is priced at P4.688 million.
Nissan Philippines also added that customers who pre-order early will have their units delivered as early as January 2025.
To recall, the company delivered the initial batch of Nissan Z units in October last year — a month behind on its initially-announced schedule.
Other highlights
Aside from the all-new Z NISMO, the firm turned the spotlight on the newly-launched Nissan Magnite and X-Trail e-Power.
Expected to rival the Toyota Raize and Kia Sonet, the vehicle measures 3,995 millimeters (mm) long; 1,758 mm wide; and 1,571 mm tall with a 2,500-mm wheelbase and 205-mm ground clearance.
Its front fascia sports pointed headlamps and L-shaped daytime running lamps flanking the hexagonal honeycomb-patterned grille. The A-segment crossover rides on dual-tone alloy wheels.
Nissan Philippines has yet to provide detailed specifications of the Magnite but Zigwheels Philippines is expecting that the model would be outfitted with digital displays for its instrument and infotainment system as seen overseas.
Likely powering the Philippine-spec Nissan Magnite is a 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline mill that is also equipped with the currently-available Almera.
Meanwhile, the Nissan X-Trail e-POWER also caught the public’s attention with its innovative technology. The aforementioned model — which is building on the success of the Nissan Kicks in 2022 —demonstrates the brand’s commitment to electrification.
Like the Magnite, the firm has not yet revealed the pertinent information about the Nissan X-Trail e-Power.
"This year's show has provided a valuable platform for us to showcase Nissan's commitment to innovation and purposeful design as we celebrate 55 years in the Philippine market. Our lineup reflects our dedication to diverse customers, from the practical Magnite to the X-Trail e-POWER and the exciting Z NISMO. We look forward to introducing these vehicles to the Philippines and seeing how they resonate with our market,” Nissan Philippines President Yasuhisa Masuda said.
