9th PIMS: Toyota’s ‘Beyond Zero’ push to be exhibited at 4-day show

MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is ready to demonstrate the brand’s “Beyond Zero” thrust at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).

In a statement, the leading automotive distributor in the country said that it will showcase a range of groundbreaking solutions that highlight Toyota’s commitment to carbon neutrality.

“Falling under its Beyond Zero movement, TMP’s Electrification, Diversification, and Intelligence innovations are designed to ensure that future generations can enjoy and inherit a beautiful planet,” the company noted.

Expected to be displayed at its booth are a “Toyota concept car making its debut in Southeast Asia, a modern future sustainable concept inspired by motorsports, and Toyota electrified vehicles that are yet to be introduced in the country.”

TMP also mentioned that guests will also have a preview of a hybrid electric vehicle to be launched soon and preview multiple forms of a vehicle being positioned as a gamechanger for business owners and those who seek leisure and adventure with various conversions.

Earlier, Zigwheels Philippines reported that the company released a PIMS-related teaser photo of what is likely the Toyota bZ4X (Beyond Zero) electric vehicle (EV) and Kayoibako concept EV van.

Relatedly, TMP will also offer test drives for the Toyota Corolla Cross, Yaris Cross, and Zenix.

Additionally, Toyota Mobility Solutions Philippines will feature its latest the latest advancements namely the Toyota RentaCar and Fleet360,

“Beyond just displaying vehicles, we are excited to introduce the Beyond Zero concept that Filipinos can be part of,” TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations Danilo Cruz said.

“Our showcase is a demonstration of our multi-pathway approach to carbon neutrality, and we would like to encourage everyone to join us and see how we can achieve a Beyond Zero future," the executive added.
