ACMobility puts up charging hub at Ayala Malls Manila Bay

MANILA: ACMobility has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) charging network by putting up a charging hub at Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

    Available is a direct current (DC) charging station with two ports as well as three alternating current (AC) charging stations with a single port. Overall, the new charging hub can service up to five EVs at the same time.

    The DC charging station is capable of delivering 120 kilowatts (kW) of power through two Combined Charging System (CCS) 2 charging points while the AC chargers get one Type 2 and Guobiao/T (GB/T) standard charge ports that put out as much as 22 kW.

    “The Ayala Malls Manila Bay Charging Hub is ACMobility's latest investment as an end-to-end electric mobility ecosystem provider that aims to activate 100 charging locations by the end of 2024,” ACMobility said in a social media post.

    100 EV chargers by end of 2024

    ACMobility aims to further extend its network of EV charging stations to 100 by the end of the year.

    To date, the Ayala-owned mobility company has over 70 charging stations in 31 locations across the country and it looks to add some 30 more stations to help usher in EVs in the Philippines.
