Such an initiative is eyed to create a more sustainable and dependable charging network that EV owners can rely on as the firm has a goal of establishing more than 250 charging points in over 100 locations by year end.
"Introducing charging fees enables ACMobility to reinvest in our network, allowing us to maintain and expand our infrastructure while delivering a consistently high-quality service," ACMobility Chief Executive Officer Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala shared.
"True to our commitment of providing the best value to our customers, we aim to make every charging experience as accessible, reliable, and convenient —- enabling worry-free journeys across NCR and beyond,” he added.
In a statement, the company explained that by monetizing charging services, ACMobility can continue to give exceptional user experience.
“Each ACMobility EV Charging Station is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for fast, efficient, and secure charging, along with an intuitive interface that minimizes downtime. Meanwhile, through the EVRO app, users can locate available and compatible stations, monitor their charging session, and make cashless payments seamlessly,” ACMobility shared.
“The introduction of fees also encourages timely sessions, allowing more users the opportunity to charge. By providing reliable customer support during operating hours, ACMobility ensures drivers receive dependable assistance whenever they need it,” it added.
Further, ACMobility mentioned that it is looking at further enhancing its charging infrastructure by integrating the latest technologies to serve consumers better — with an ultimate goal of creating a seamless charging experience for all EV owners.
With that, ACMobility is inviting the public to make the shift and are encouraged to choose the company’s EV charging stations “for a superior charging experience that prioritizes their time and investment.”
