All-electric Nissan Ariya makes public driving debut on Circuit de Monaco

MANILA: For the first time ever, the fully electric Nissan Ariya made a public appearance on the iconic Circuit de Monaco in French Riviera.

The all-electric coupe crossover features a stylish and seamless design that perfectly blended with the beautiful Monaco backdrop.

Nissan AMIEO Region Vice President for Product and Strategy Pricing Arnaud Charpentier stated, “Ariya’s public driving in the streets of Monaco is a great way to witness the capabilities of our e-4orce technology. Ariya is the epitome of Nissan’s innovation in electric mobility and this event marks a defining moment in the next chapter of Nissan’s EV journey.”

The Ariya combines powerful performance and advanced technologies with a cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) design. It features a wide array of modern features, a competitive range of battery capacities, and a unique e-4orce drivetrain.

Nissan’s electrification strategy was developed from a rigorous study and evaluation of an EV’s capability on racetracks and roads to provide the best possible EV offering for customers.

Formula E has highlighted the thrilling possibilities for EVs. Ariya’s first public drive on the iconic Circuit de Monaco has showcased the thrill of driving a zero-emission EV, which can also be experienced by everyone in the near future.

For the 2020/2021 season, the Nissan Formula E team is strongly connecting its competitiveness to the brand’s production EVS. They named car no. 22 after the all-electric Nissan Leaf and car no. 23 after the Nissan Ariya.
