All-new 2023 Honda BR-V reaches PH shores, booking and reservation now open

MANILA: Just in time for the Christmas bonus season, the all-new 2023 Honda BR-V arrives on Philippine shores, following its debut at the recent 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is preparing to launch the All-New BR-V in the country and is set to replace the brand's current best-selling model.

The All-New 2023 Honda BR-V features a bolder design and advanced features to meet the needs of the modern Filipino family. The new design combines the rugged personalities of an SUV, the space and flexibility of an MPV, and powerful performance while remaining fuel-efficient, all while remaining anchored on Honda's proven track record of quality, reliability, and superior overall value.

Aggressive and Sporty SUV Style

From the outside, the All-New 2023 Honda BR-V has a dynamic body shape with strong lines that run from the front to the back of the body, giving it an aggressive and sporty look of an SUV. The next-generation model commands an even greater road presence thanks to its increased ground clearance and new 17" alloy wheel design.

Spacious and Comfortable Interior with MPV Value

The interior of the All-New 2023 BR-V is efficiently designed to create an even more comfortable and spacious environment for all occupants. This model now has more legroom and headroom for passengers in each row, allowing them to enjoy the cabin more comfortably. Because of its larger cargo area, this seven-seater SUV allows you to bring more. The redesigned BR-V is purpose-built to serve a wide range of needs and adventures, with a flexible interior that includes One-Touch Tumble 2nd Row Seats and a Dive Down Mechanism for the 3rd row

Furthermore, the interior design of the All-New 2023 BR-V is functional in order to achieve comfort and practicality. Leather seats are available on the VX CVT Honda SENSING and V CVT models, while High Grade Fabric seats are available on the S CVT and S MT models. The All-New BR-V now includes a Seat Height Adjuster and Adjustable Steering Wheel across all variants, a first for this model.

Powerful Yet Fuel Efficient Engine

This seven-seater SUV is powered by a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine that produces 121 PS at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. It is paired with a new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) to provide better fuel efficiency and acceleration response, allowing the driver to feel more confident when driving in a variety of road conditions, whether in the city or on long cruising drives.

Premium and Advanced Features

The All-New 2023 Honda BR-V now has a well-designed cockpit that emphasizes functionality for the driver and passengers. This model's upgraded design is complemented by a slew of technological features, including a 7-inch Advanced Touchscreen Display Audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Remote Engine Start, both of which provide added convenience and ease of access.

Safety

In pursuit of Honda’s global goal to realize zero traffic collision fatalities by 2050, the All-New BR-V VX CVT is equipped with Honda SENSING's advanced safety technology which provides comprehensive protection for drivers and passengers by giving warnings and taking actions to reduce the risks of accidents. Honda SENSING safety features include:

• Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS)
• Auto-High Beam (AHB)
• Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
• Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN)
• Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW)
• Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF)

Aside from its advanced safety features the All-New BR-V comes standard with Speed Sensing Auto Door Locks, Dual and Side Airbags, Reverse Camera with Guidelines, Driver and Front Passenger Seat Belt Reminder, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist, Security Alarm, Immobilizer, Emergency Stop Signal and ISO Fix Child Seat Anchor.

The Side Curtain Airbags, LaneWatch Camera and Rear Seat Belt Reminder are exclusively available for the VX CVT Honda SENSING. In addition, the Walk Away Auto Lock is available for the VX CVT Honda SENSING and V CVT variants, while the Remote Engine Start is available for the VX CVT Honda SENSING, V CVT, and S CVT variants.

With all these safety features, the All-New 2023 BR-V is awarded a 5-star rating in the latest ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia) announcement last September 2022.
