All-new Ford F-150 Lariat Diesel 4x4 variant arrives in PH

MANILA: Ford Philippines has officially launched the globally renowned F-150 pickup truck today, November 26. The arrival of the most powerful and purpose-built full-size truck in its lineup reinforces Ford’s leadership in the local truck segment.

With its unequaled toughness and productivity, the Ford F-150 has set the global standard in pickup trucks. It has received a lot of good reviews for its distinctly robust design, strong performance, class-leading capabilities, and a suite of innovative technologies.

“The all-new F-150 is a formidable addition to our truck lineup and will continue to strengthen our truck leadership in the country,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Michael Breen stated. “Purpose-built from the ground up, the all-new F-150 is redesigned to be the toughest and most productive F-150 ever. Our deep understanding of truck customers reflects in the new features available on the all-new F-150 that help take productivity to the next level.”

In response to customer demand for a diesel variant of the F-150, Ford Philippines makes the all-new F-150 Lariat Diesel variant available in the country.

The F-150’s powertrain features a 3.0-liter four-valve DOHC Power Stroke V6 turbo diesel with auto start-stop technology, which churns out 253ps and 596Nm of torque. This is paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with progressive range select and selectable drive modes for work-ready power while maintaining exceptional fuel efficiency.

The all-new F-150 is equipped with unique pickup truck features such as LED cargo box lighting with zone lighting and power-deployable running boards with kick switch. It also comes standard with dynamic bending, LED fog lamps with cornering lamps, configurable daytime running lamps, and LED tail lamps. It is also equipped with all-terrain tires and 20-inch six-spoke dark alloy-painted aluminum wheels.

The interior of the all-new F-150 has been totally revamped to upgrade the owner’s experience with style, comfort, utility, and technology, as it is designed to meet the functional needs of the customers. The cabin comes with a twin-panel moonroof, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster screen, and a Stowable Shifter that allows the driver to stow the shifter to create extra space while parked. Other notable features are remote keyless entry system, accessory delay for power features, dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, and power-adjustable pedals with memory feature.

For a more premium feel, the all-new F-150 also features front-row premium leather-trimmed bucket seats with heating and ventilation function. The second row is equipped with premium leather-trimmed seats with heating and a 60/40 split one-touch flip-up seat with folding armrest and cupholders.

The F-150 also comes with numerous smart and safety technologies that upgrade the driving experience. It comes standard with the all-new Sync4, allowing owners to stay connected and be productive. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available. The F-150 also includes an eight-speaker Bang & Ofulsen system, a 12-inch LCD center stack touchscreen, and six USB charging ports.

It also comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0, which includes pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking (AEB), blind spot information system (BLIS) with cross-traffic alert, lane keeping system (LKS), auto-high beam headlamps, reverse sensing system, reverse brake assist, post-collision braking, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane centering, and speed sign recognition, evasive steering assist, a 360-degree camera, and active park assist.

The all-new F-150 Lariat Diesel 4x4 variant is now available in all Ford dealerships nationwide. It comes in seven colors: Agate Black Metallic, Iconic Silver Metallic, Lead Foot, Oxford White, Rapid Red Metallic, Velocity Blue Metallic, and Carbonized Gray Metallic. It is priced at P3.398 million.
