All-new Toyota Crown Sport debuts in Japan

The Toyota Crown Sport will be officially launched in Japan by November 2023.The introduction of the Sport model marks the start of the new chapter for the Crown nameplate, which now comes in four models. The Toyota Crown Sport is a sports utility vehicle that delivers an eye-catching style and fun driving experience.
To bring an exciting element to the Crown’s minimalist look, the Crown Sport is designed with rear fenders that dramatically extend outward from the D pillars to the rear tires.
It also comes with a hammerhead shark-like face, narrow-lens daytime running lamps, and 21-inch tires and aluminum wheels. The Toyota Crown Sport is available in six monotone and five bi-tone body colors.
On the inside, the Toyota Crown Sport features an island architecture design, which groups together various functions, such as displays and gearshift, to create separate islands.
The driver side is uniformly black to promote driving focus, while the front-passenger side has a unique material and color scheme to foster relaxation.
The Crown Sport is equipped with a 12.3-inch wide display with Connected Navigation support that connects with the Toyota Smart Center to acquire data.
Similar to the Crown Crossover, the Sport model is powered by a high-efficiency hybrid system composed of a high-output density drive motor and a large-capacity lithium-ion battery. It also comes with a dynamic rear steering (DRS) that strikes a balance between agility at low speeds and a greater sense of stability at high speeds to provide an exciting driving experience.
To ensure safe and convenient driving, the Crown Sport comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense, which includes proactive driving assist, blind spot monitor, panoramic view monitor, safe exit assist, Toyota Teammate Advanced Drive and Advanced Park, and more.
Toyota has started accepting orders for the all-new Crown Sport in Japan. The new model will be officially launched by November.
