All-new Toyota GR 86 arrives in PH, price starts at P2.328M

MANILA: The all-new Toyota GR86 has finally arrived at Toyota Motor Philippines’ (TMP) GR Performance Dealerships nationwide on Friday, August 26.

The all-new Toyota GR86 made its first local appearance at the Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival last July. Pre-orders began during 8.6 Day last August 6.

The arrival of the all-new Toyota GR86 helps Toyota Gazoo Racing in promoting motorsports among Filipinos. The Toyota GR86 joins the Toyota GR Supra and Toyota GR Yaris in the GR lineup in the country.

The all-new Toyota GR86 is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder, horizontally opposed, DOHC 16-valve engine that produces 237 ps of power and 250 Nm of torque. It is available in automatic and manual variants.

Now that it carries the GR badge, the Toyota GR86 delivers improved steering feedback and sharper handling on and off track.

The all-new Toyota GR86 is a real head-turner, with striking ducktail rear spoiler, piano black rear view mirrors, and alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Toyota GR86 is equipped with leather suede seats for AT variant and fabric seats for the MT variant. Both variants are equipped with a leather steering wheel, a seven-inch TFT multi-information display, an eight-inch display audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and dual-zone auto airconditioning system.

The Toyota GR86 also enables convenient driving with its keyless Smart Entry and Push Start systems.

In terms of safety features, the Toyota GR86 is equipped with SRS airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HSA), and Limited Slip Differential (LSD).

The AT variant also comes with a GR Active Safety Suite, which includes special safety features such as Pre-Collision System (PCS), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC).

The all-new Toyota GR86 is available in seven color options: Ignition Red, Magnetite Gray Metallic, Crystal White Pearl, Ice Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Silica, Bright Blue, and Sapphire Blue Pearl.

Price starts at P2.328 million for the MT variant and P2.499 million for the AT variant.
