Auto China 2024: Lynk and Co unveils 07 EM-P PHEV

BEIJING: Lynk and Co has unveiled the 07 EM-P plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) at the ongoing Auto China 2024.

“In this auto show, we are introducing the luxurious and intelligent Lynk and Co 07 EM-P electric vehicle. What it offers is a super hybrid electric experience that pure electric products can’t achieve. It also has something that previous mid-size sedans lack — originality, personality, and luxurious enjoyment,” Senior Vice President of Geely Automobile Group and General Manager of Lynk and Co Automobile Sales Jie Lin said during the event.

 

The Lynk and Co 07 EM-P PHEV is built on the marque’s E-Motive Platform, hence the “E-MP” moniker. Per the Geely and Volvo Cars-owned brand, it uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged, four-cylinder, hybrid engine paired with a DHT Evo Dual motor system.

It dishes out some 375 horses with 615 Newton-meters of pulling power and can propel the hybrid sedan from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.5 seconds.

The Lynk and Co 07 EM-P can achieve a combined range of more than 1,400 kilometers on a full tank and full battery.

Some of the notable features of the Lynk and Co 07 EM-P include Nappa anti-bacteria leather seats, a 23-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, door-on-warning technology, a panoramic sound unit, a 92-inch AR head-up display, a 15.4-inch infotainment system, and two large screens for the rear passengers.

The Lynk and Co 06, 08, and 09 also get versions fitted with the same EM-P platform.
