Starting with new energy vehicles to be based on the concepts unveiled today, Nissan will build a balanced product portfolio of diverse and competitive new models. Our aim will be to provide a more exciting mobility experience to all customers in China,” Nissan President and Chief Executive Officer Makoto Uchida noted. 

    Per Nissan, the Epoch Concept is an electric sedan designed for urban and suburban car buyers who wish to expand their lifestyles with design and technologies. It has an artificial intelligence (AI)-expanded Internet of Things and a virtual personal assistant that recognizes emotions. 

    Meanwhile, the Nissan Epic Concept is an electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) that would suit adventurous city dwellers who like to spend their weekends exploring. Its notable features include autonomous driving technology for city and highways, vehicle to load function, and a handful of on-board systems aimed at creating a relaxing atmosphere.

    On the other hand, the Nissan Era Concept is a plug-in hybrid SUV that can cater to the needs of young businesspeople who treat their cars as a second home. On that note, it has an interconnected entertainment system, zero-gravity seats, advanced e-4ORCE all-wheel control, and active air suspension. 

    Finally, the Nissan Evo Concept is a plug-in hybrid electric sedan that will answer most of the requirements of many families. Its highlights include advanced driver support and safety technologies and an AI-enhanced virtual personal assistant.

    Also present at Nissan’s booth is the Nissan Hyper Force Concept and Hyper Punk Concept, which premiered at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo last year.
