BAIC PH gets 8 dealer partners following brand launch
Showroom, aftersales ops to commence next month
MANILA: After being revived last March, BAIC (Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Company Limited) Philippines immediately established its dealer-partners that would help boost the brand’s presence locally.

The dealers will begin to operate their BAIC outlets by June 2024.In a statement, the United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated (UAAGI)-led automotive distributor said eight major automotive groups in the country has signed up to establish dealership around the country — with their dealerships set to commence sales operations by June.
The Chinese automaker’s local arm identified the partner firms as the following:
- ANGs Automotive Group (Iloilo)
- Angcore Motor Group (Davao)
- AutoSpeedyGo Group (Marilao)
- Automotive Icon Incorporated (Alabang)
- Autonomics Motor Corporation (Tuguegarao)
- Laus Auto Group (Pampanga)
- Magnet Motors (Cagayan De Oro)
- Oro Autoworld (Zamboanga)
Per BAIC Philippines, the on-boarding of the aforementioned automotive dealership groups serves as a “testament to the trust and confidence extended” towards the marque and its new official Philippine distributor.
"We are excited to mark this new growth in UAAGI’s nationwide dealership network and we acknowledge the support of our roster of distinguished BAIC Philippines dealer partners,” UAAGI Chairman Rommel Sytin was quoted as saying.
“UAAGI and its dealers are positioned to introduce the BAIC brand to the Filipino motoring public with its impressive SUV lineup and advanced technology paired with UAAGI’s brand of specialized customer service," he added.
Alongside Sytin during the signing ceremonies were Group Managing Director Froilan Dytianquin, Chief Marketing Executive Lyn Manalansang-Buena, and BAIC Brand Head and General Manager Christopher David Yu.
"Having eight major dealer groups commit to our new brand is certainly an auspicious start for BAIC and UAAGI. We can't wait for Filipinos to experience firsthand the characteristics and capabilities of our world-class SUV models," Dytianquin shared.
Displayed at the Manila International Auto Show 2024 last month, BAIC Philippines’ initial lineup is made up of the B40 Ragnar, B60 Beaumont, B80 Wagon, X55 Verve, and X7 Grandeza.
Aside from contemporary styling and modern technologies, BAIC Philippines said that the models in its roster are packaged with a five-year warranty.
