CAMPI-TMA sales up by 7% in Q1 2025
Groups breach 117k-unit retail mark

MANILA: The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) enjoyed nearly seven-percent sales growth in the opening quarter of 2025.

Sales performance per category
Maintaining CAMPI-TMA’s sales thrust is the commercial vehicle segment. Models under the said classification (which hold 79.22 percent of the groups’ market) have cooperatively sold 92,742 examples in the first three months of 2025 — showing a 13.9-percent rise over the 81,395 examples retailed during the same period the previous year.

Passenger cars, on the other hand, suffered a 13.7-percent slide after sales slid down to 24,332 units from January-March 2024’s 28,211-vehicle churn.

Holding the lion’s share of the CAMPI-TMA market (47.42 percent) is Toyota Motor Philippines with 55,513 units sold in the first quarter of the year trailed by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation’s 28,382-example rollout.
Keeping the third place is Nissan after selling 6,722 vehicles.

Suzuki still sat at fourth place, thanks to its 5,441-unit year-to-date sales last month while Ford is on fifth spot with its 5,219-example retail churn.
