Car Sales Philippines 2015 - Market Analysis by CAMPI

MANILA: CAMPI (Chamber of Automotive Manufacturer of the Philippines, Inc.) has once again revised its market analysis for 2015 Philippines car sales. This time around according to Chamber of Automotive Industry, car sales will be as high as 320,000 units. If the said analysis holds good in the near future then will see an 18.5% growth in the Philippines auto industry compared to 2014.

As for the record, this automotive industry market analysis is based on estimates taken from AVID (Association of Vehicle and Distribution) and TMA (Truck Manufacturer Association). Car sales Philippines 2014 during the same period was restricted to 192,005 units, thus currently 2015 is running 22.4% higher at 234,951 units. The big automotive analysts have set big targets and are confident to see an annual sales figure of 500,000 units till 2020.

CAMPI has been revising the projection figures for long now and each time it comes up with a higher set of numbers. Proving that the auto industry is growing at a heart-thumping rate. What started initially with an estimate of 300,000 units followed by 310,000 units, has finally settled at 320,000 units.

Well, few more days to go before the year end and then only we'll come to know whether the said estimate was right or the Philippines auto world was underestimated by the Chamber.
