Changan Auto PH celebrates 1st anniversary, looks back at milestones

MANILA: Changan Philippines is celebrating its first anniversary by looking back at the milestones it achieved during its maiden year. 

“Since its official brand launch under Inchcape Philippines in September 2023, Changan Philippines has achieved several brand milestones, highlighting its focus on delivering excellent products and services to the Filipino market,” the company wrote in a press release. 

Introduction of new, exciting models 

Changan Philippines has introduced several new and exciting models during its first year.

These nameplates include the Changan X7 Plus in September 2023. Six months after the brand debuted, it unleashed the CS15 at the Manila International Auto Show last year. 

Teasing what the future holds, Changan Philippines previewed the Hunter REEV at the recently held Philippine International Motor Show. 

Expansion of footprint in PH 

Changan Philippines also worked on expanding its footprint in the country. 

In January, Changan Philippines forged a successful partnership with Global Star Motors Corporation — a premier dealer network organization in Cebu City. 

The said partnership saw the opening of Changan dealerships in Cebu, Tagbilaran, Tacloban, Dumaguete and Cagayan de Oro. 

In July, Changan Philippines opened the doors of its flagship showroom in C5, Pasig City. 

Per the local subsidiary of the Chinese carmaker, the said showroom serves as the marque’s largest dealership in the country, allowing it to be of service to more Changan customers for sales and after-sales requirements. 

Looking into the future, Changan Philippines will open dealerships in Alabang and Davao in the next few months.
