The Test Drive Tour, which happened from January 25 to March 17, 2021, happened at sales outlets and dealerships across the country where customers were able to get behind the wheel of the Changan CS75 Plus compact SUV, the Changan CS35 Plus subcompact SUV, and the Changan Alsvin subcompact sedan.
These three top-selling models worldwide, together with the Changan Eado EV460 pure electric vehicle (EV) and the Changan CS95 seven-seater SUV, were launched in the Philippines last November 26, 2020 and at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS Wired) on December 16, 2020.

The words chang and an, when combined, mean “lasting safety,” which is what the newest automotive player provides to Filipinos.
Changan, one of the top four auto brands in China, takes pride in 37 years of vehicle production, a 158-year legacy of industry success, and worldwide sales of 1.3 million vehicles.
From its first mass-produced vehicle, the Changjiang Type 46 jeep, unveiled in 1958, to its existing range of future-forward vehicles, the Changan “V” represents “victory” and “value” in five major areas of motoring pleasure — sustainability, design, quality, intelligence, and innovation.
To date, the global research and development (R&D) network of Changan covers three continents and employs 80,000 people from 24 countries: four facilities in China for the engineering of vehicles, led by the Changan Automobile Global R&D Center located in Chongqing; Turin, Italy for exterior design; Yokohama, Japan for interior styling; Detroit, USA for autonomous driving technologies and chassis design; Birmingham, UK for innovative engine design; and Munich, Germany for Intelligent Interaction, as well as the engineering of new-energy vehicles.
The company has been careful in adopting its forward-thinking 4+N technical concept. The number 4 means “stylish, intelligent, eco-friendly, and enjoyable” innovations, while the letter “N” pertains to basic support technologies, like computer-aided engineering (CAE); chassis; noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH); and crash safety.
Reinforcing the 4+N concept are “two magic weapons,” namely the Changan Automobile Test and Verification System (CA-TVS) and the Changan Automobile Product Development System (CA-PDS).
Changan has manufactured over 20 mass-production vehicles and 10 concept vehicles in the last decade.
Four-hundred forty professionals of different creative fields of expertise and nationalities comprise the design team of Changan. Vehicles that Changan produced have become trendsetters and along with this, the auto brand was able to receive 20 design awards in China and abroad.
In China, Changan is considered a pioneer in the mass production of intelligent vehicles that smoothly connect car, phone, and home via cloud-based interconnection.
The Dubhe Plan, its intelligent approach, aims to convert Changan from a conventional automaker to an advanced travel technology firm. Under this plan, the company has established its three-stage roadmap for autonomous driving technology, which involves Level 1-assisted driving, Level 2-semi-automatic driving, and Level 3-highly automatic driving.
The “guanxi” concept of China entails the development of trust, which is what CMPI plans to establish with Filipino motorists.
Customers who want to test drive the vehicles of Changan as well as be updated with the latest news about the brand, can visit the official website of Changan here or its Facebook account here.
