Changan PH Dealer Execs Tackle Digital Trends In Auto Industry

MANILA: Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) held its first Executive Sessions for the leaders of its dealership network at the CMPI National Headquarters in Calamba City, Laguna.

The conference, with the theme “ChanganVerse,” featured discussions on the trends, challenges, and uses of cutting-edge technology in the automotive retail industry. The conference supported Changan International Corporation's (CIC) efforts to enter new international markets with its own brand of innovative automotive technology by ensuring that the Changan Philippines dealership network is prepared for the changing dynamics of the customer journey.

Insights were shared by DITO CME Chief Operating Officer Dr. Donald Patrick Lim, UnionBank of the Philippines Senior Vice President for Customer Experience Group Jaypee Soliman, Havas Media Ortega Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jos Ortega, and Philippine Software Industry Association President Jonathan de Luzuriaga.

Development Dimensions International Consultant Christine Go gave a special presentation on business continuity in the digital era. The conference was hosted by CNN Philippines Director for News and Senior Anchor Rico Hizon.

“Apart from the usual performance reporting, we wanted to make our yearly dealers’ conference relevant and real to today’s landscape. It is a must for the entire network to be constantly learning and updating themselves because to thrive and succeed in this digital world, we must always put our customers at the front and center of everything we do — connecting with them where, when and how they want it,” CMPI President and Chief Executive Officer Maria Fe Perez-Agudo stated.
