Chery Auto PH sales skyrocket by 280% in first 8 months of 2021

MANILA: Chery Auto Philippines has recorded a whopping 280% sales increase in the first eight months of 2021 versus the same period last year. In a release, the company said that this sales growth indicates that the brand remains to be one of the top choices of Filipino car buyers searching for value-packed crossovers.

In a statement, Chery Auto Philippines President Rommel Sytin said, “The robust growth in both our sales and dealer network strengthens Chery Auto Philippines’ market confidence. It is inspiring to see the optimism and confidence not just within the Chery family, but in the resilient Filipino consumers as well.”

Chery Auto Philippines has recently opened new dealerships in Sta. Rosa, Laguna; Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija; and Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro. Meanwhile, Chery Pasay and Chery Gorordo in Cebu are currently in the final stages of construction. The company is also set to inaugurate new dealerships in Subic, Zambales and Pangasinan by the end of the year.

Currently, Chery has a total of 19 full-service dealerships nationwide — a record pace for a new car brand that was launched less than two years ago.
