Chevrolet PH Announces Last Call to Own a Camaro

MANILA: Chevrolet Philippines has announced a final call to own the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro, which is the nameplate’s final edition.

All 19 dealerships nationwide are accepting reservations for the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro, which is priced at P4,266,888.

Here in the Philippines, the Chevrolet Camaro has been popular among car enthusiasts due to its head-turning looks and exceptional agility.

The very first Chevrolet Camaro was introduced in the US in 1967 as a two-door coupe with V6 and V8 engine options and a rear-wheel drivetrain.

The Chevrolet Camaro has also become a pop culture icon as it made appearances in various television shows, films, and music videos. An orange and white 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible appeared in the iconic Charlie’s Angels film, driven by lead stars Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, and Cameron Diaz. The 1977 and 2006 Chevrolet Camaro Concept models also starred in Transformers as Bumblebee. The Chevrolet Camaro was also featured in the music videos of Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers and Stylo by Gorillaz.

In March, Chevrolet revealed that the sixth-generation of the muscle car will be the last edition of the nameplate. The very last Chevrolet Camaro will roll off the production line in January 2024.

The sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro sports a distinctive design as it  is embellished with a brazenly sculpted hood, a unique fascia with LED headlamps, black Chevrolet bowtie and RS badge, and five-spoke 20-inch machined wheels.

Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbo intercooled all-aluminum engine that produces 275hp and 398Nm of torque. It is paired to an eight-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission and a Brembo Brake package with four-piston calipers and disc rotors.

On the inside, the Chevrolet Camaro is packed with comfort and convenience features that deliver an unparalleled driving experience. It comes with sport bucket seats with power adjust and memory function, an eight-inch driver information center, an eight-inch MyLink infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a head-up display.
