Chevrolet PH now officially under HARI

MANILA: Hariphil Asia Resources, Incorporated (HARI) now carries the Chevrolet brand under its portfolio.

The announcement was made months after Ma. Fe Agudo has officially started to steer the Golden Bowtie brand’s local distributorship.

In a statement, HARI said that Agudo has taken on the challenge of “reestablishing the iconic status of the Bowtie Brand in the minds and sensibilities of today’s diverse markets.”

To note, HARI was the then distributor of Hyundai and Changan passenger vehicle offerings in the country.

Relatedly, Chevrolet Philippines shared that it experienced a 131-percent growth for the first half of 2024 — beating the brand’s performance in 2023. According to the brand, the positive performance was driven by the Tracker, Camaro, and Trailblazer.

In the recent “Generation Chevrolet 3.33” program, Agudo met the dealer-network and called for “breakthroughs” in managing critical areas of the business. It is also under the same event that the company recognized the top performers in sales, service, parts, customer relationship management, and dealer management.

 “We want to acknowledge the dedicated individuals and teams of Chevrolet’s dealer network who fearlessly delivered remarkable results this first half of the year,” Agudo explained.

Agudo also revealed its three-year roadmap for the Chevrolet, which will have the following: introduction of new products, the opening of new dealerships, and targets for 2024-2027.

“Taking a long view of HARI’s almost 25 years in the business, I clearly see how the ups and downs of our business accumulated to wins — because we refuse to stay down. We always get up, humbler but braver and wiser. I see history repeating itself as we embark on another breakthrough journey to fulfill General Motors' vision to pioneer innovations that move and connect people in this broad and diverse world of ours,” she concluded.
