Chevrolet Tech Eyes to aid in remote vehicle troubleshooting
MANILA: As part of the commitment of Chevrolet Philippines to deliver outstanding ownership, the dealerships and service technicians of the auto company is set to introduce “Tech Eyes”. This program from the engineers of the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) under The Covenant Car Company Inc. (TCCCI) aims to resolve complex vehicle problems more efficiently.
The “Tech Eyes” program will be implemented in the Philippines this May as Chevy dealerships reopen and accept customers.
This program allows service technicians to hold online vehicle diagnosis through the assistance of service engineers and aftersales professionals from TCCCI, the sole distributor and importer of Chevrolet vehicles and parts in the country.
The technical team utilizes Microsoft Teams meeting application, laptop, high-speed Internet, HD webcam, wireless headphone, and scan tool to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle problems in real time. This includes issues related to vehicle control modules, electrical wiring, and software programming-related issues that cannot be easily detected.
It is expected that repairs carried out through “Tech Eyes” program would attain productive completion rates, as it minimizes the duration that vehicles stay in service bays. Chevy aims to redefine the level of service that dealerships offer to Chevy owners with this remote vehicle troubleshooting program.
“Tech Eyes” also aids in the maintenance of physical distancing measures in various Chevrolet dealerships and guarantees the safety and well-being of TCCCI personnel, dealer employees, and the customers of the auto brand.
Chevrolet Thailand was the forerunner of the “Tech Eyes” program and it is considered as one of the automobile brands in Thailand to provide such service. GM also utilized this program in its export markets.
“Tech Eyes” is one of the numerous projects of Chevrolet Philippines towards the improvement of its Complete Care aftersales services, which include Chevy Non-Stop Service, Chevy Express Service, 24/7 Customer Care Assistance, 24/7 Roadside Assistance, and 5-Year Warranty Coverage.
