Chevrolet’s new online shopping platform allows safe and convenient car purchase
MANILA: Chevrolet Philippines launched its “Shop. Click. Drive” online platform where customers can purchase a brand-new Chevrolet vehicle unit anytime without having to visit any physical dealership.
The Shop. Click. Drive. program was developed by General Motors, the parent company of Chevrolet. This was made available in the country with the help of The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), the official distributor of Chevrolet vehicles in the Philippines. The platform allows customers to virtually view their preferred Chevrolet vehicle models, apply for payment plans, process the payment for vehicle reservation and other services, and schedule a test drive.
In a statement, TCCCI President and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Alberto B. Arcilla said, “We witnessed the shift in the purchasing journey of digital-savvy Filipino car buyers and we wanted to build a platform that will integrate Chevrolet in that process. The launch of Shop. Click. Drive. is an exciting addition to our already focused digital programs, which allow us to meet our customers in the digital space and provide them with a simple and effortless car purchasing experience.”
To access the online shopping platform, customers must log on to www.shopclickdrive.com.ph. The website features a filter function on the search page that allows customers to personalize their search for more narrowed-down options. The filter function also allows the customers to pick their preferred vehicle color.
The online platform also has a model comparison tool that allows customers to compare two to three vehicle models or variants by listing down their features and specifications side by side. This tool comes handy when customers are undecided on which Chevy fits their preference and lifestyle.
Once the customer has chosen the model and variant, they can book a test drive or set an appointment with any Chevrolet dealership. A Chevrolet sales consultant will guide them throughout the purchasing process.
The online platform provides detailed payment estimates on the customer’s preferred vehicle model. Through the website, customers can upload the required documents for their financial application, which will be immediately processed by their preferred Chevrolet dealership.
Chevrolet has teamed up with local payment gateway PayMongo to provide secure cashless payment option to customers. Vehicle reservation and service payments can be processed through credit card or Gcash. Chevrolet dealerships also offer other online payment options.
Once the purchase has been fully processed, the customer can choose to have the unit delivered straight to their home or to book a pickup at their preferred Chevrolet dealership.
All Chevrolet dealerships observe health and safety protocols to guarantee a safe vehicle turnover. Wearing of face mask and physical distancing are required.
