MANILA: Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI), the local marketeter of the Caltex brand, has renewed its lease agreement with Batangas Land Company Incorporated (BLC) in order to continuously address the fuel needs of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

CPI renewed its lease agreement with BLC in order to continue supplying its fuel products to Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.Specifically, CPI’s renewed lease agreement covers BLC properties located in San Pascual in Batangas, Lapu-lapu in Cebu, San Fernando (Poro) in La Union, and Sasa in Davao City. At the said locations, CPI will continue to operate fuel terminals, which the company heavily invested in, to guarantee “continued safe and reliable operations in the country.”
“These four terminals that we are leasing from BLC in Batangas, Cebu, Sasa, and Poro serve as the backbone of our operations. This seal of renewed partnership enables CPI to continue serving our customers and ultimately providing for the growing energy needs of the country,” CPI Country Chairman Billy Liu said.
BLC President Lilia Arce, on the other hand, espoused the value between public entities like BLC and private entities such as CPI. The aforementioned, after all, will prove to be beneficial to communities.

“This ongoing relationship between Chevron and BLC is more than just a business transaction. It is proof of what can be achieved when both sectors unite with a shared vision, an example of how working together can create lasting impact,” Arce said.
Additionally, several key officials also encouraced the renewal of Chevrol and BLC’s lease agreement. The aforementioned includes DTI Secretary Christina Roque, Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs Secretary Frederick Go, as well as US Ambassador to the Philippines MaryKay Carlson.
Other recent and notable initiatives undertaken by CPI include the inauguration of more than 40 Caltex stations nationwide. The fuel conglomerate likewise forged a partnership with Pickup Coffee and has expanded its workshop network to 359 locations since 2024.
