“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Chairman Dimayuga for addressing the concern of jeepney operators. We consider it as a welcome development,” Martin stated.
Prior to this, the Metro Manila Council, composed of Metro Manila mayors, reached a preliminary understanding to establish a dedicated motorcycle lane on Commonwealth Avenue.
Under MMDA Resolution No. 22-15, the right outermost lane of Commonwealth Avenue will be designated as an exclusive bicycle lane.
The second and third lanes of Commonwealth Avenue will be exclusive for motorcycles and PUVs, respectively.
All other motor vehicles will go on Commonwealth Avenue's remaining lanes.
