After a delay of almost a year, Nissan finally took the curtains off from its flagship sports car

Straight From The Future: BMW i8 Launched At PIMS 2016
- Pegged to be the future of sports cars in the world, the striking i8 gets launched in Philippines today
- Designed to mesmerize, while being loaded to the brim with hybrid technology, i8 grabbed a lot of attention at the show
- With power coming from two sources i.e. a 1.5-litre engine and an electric motor it can deliver combined power figures of 362 PS of power and 569 Nm of torque
- The i8 is on display at the BMW pavilion till 18 September 2016
- A new potent diesel variant gets added to the X1 line-up for Philippines
- With its long wheelbase, short overhangs and an impressive silhouette combined with an all new engine X1 can now cater to a variety of customers

Stylish And Sporty Mazda CX-3 Showcased at PIMS 2016
- After being launched just ahead of the PIMS 2016, Mazda showcased the all popular CX-3 crossover
- This stylish yet sporty crossover from Mazda will be an import from Japan
- Powered by a 2.0-litre SkyActiv-G engine which can belt out 148PS of power coupled with 192Nm of peak torque
- Mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox, it is made available in two drive modes Front Wheel Drive and All Wheel Drive
- Prices start with PhP 1,280,000 for the FWD Pro while FWD Sport will demand PhP 1,380,000 and it goes all the way up at PhP 1,480,000 for the top spec CX-3
Latest Generation 2017 Isuzu D-Max Showcased at PIMS 2016
- This came as a surprise to Philippines as Isuzu decided to showcase the latest D-Max just before the PIMS 2016
- Isuzu showcased the powerful double-cab four-door D-Max the PIMS 2016
- On the looks of it, this pick-up looks quite premium with a dash of chrome and LED daytime running lights
- Power generated under its hood comes from a 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that can churn out 163 PS of power along with 380 Nm of torque

Our view of the PIMS 2016 Day 1:
The inaugural day of this massive auto show turned out to be quite successful. With a lot of launches taking place that included popular cars such as the Honda BR-V and sports machines like the mighty Nissan GT-R, visitors had a blast at Day 1 of PIMS 2016.
