DPWH reactivates ‘Lakbay Alalay’ program for Undas
MANILA: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has reactivated its “Lakbay Alalay” roadside assistance program as the number of motorists along key routes are expected to rise due to the All Saints Day and All Souls Day holidays.

“For three days, our ‘Lakbay Alalay’ Motorist Assistance Centers will be operational to provide prompt and reliable assistance to motorists and travelers going to visit their departed loved ones this long weekend,” Bonoan stated.
The DPWH is deploying uniformed personnel at strategically located stations around the clock to provide emergency services to motorists.
Before the launch of the motorist assistance program, the DPWH Regional and District Engineering Officers across the country were directed to perform routine maintenance along national roads, particularly those leading to cemeteries and churches, to ensure smooth traffic flow in these areas.
