In Changan Motor Philippines' "Biyaheng Aasenso Showcase" earlier this month, the public had the chance to explore the features of the Changan Alsvin.

The Changan Alsvin sports a contemporary look with projector halogen-type headlamps with up/down adjustment.

On the inside, the Changan Alsvin can accommodate up to five occupants. Passenger amenities include the air-conditioning system with PM 0.1 air filter and multimedia system with seven-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and video playback.

For driver convenience, the Changan Alsvin comes with four-way manual driver seat adjustment, Electric Power Steering (EPS) with speed-sensing, and multi-functional steering wheel controls for easier operation of the infotainment system.

The Changan Alsvin has a 382-liter cargo capacity, which is remarkably spacious for a sedan.

Under the hood of the Changan Alsvin’s base variant is a 1.4-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine that produces a maximum power of 100ps at 6,000rpm and a maximum torque of 135Nm from 3,500rpm to 4,500rpm. Fuel consumption and exhaust emissions are effectively minimized by this efficient, stable, and dependable engine.

Among the safety and security features of the Changan Alsvin are dual front airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), reverse camera, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), child safety lock, Isofix, seatbelt reminder, and keyless entry.

To ensure a safe path while parking in a dark or dimly lit area, the Changan Alsvin also comes with adjustable follow-me-home headlamps that can be set to stay on for 10 to 120 seconds.
