Electrifying entry: Mercedes-Benz introduces 4-car EQ lineup in PH

All offerings are powered by state-of-the-art electric drivetrains that deliver exhilarating performance while producing zero emissions.
Further, every Mercedes-Benz EQ model comes with the latest safety features, advanced driver-assistance systems as well as comfort features for passengers.
Mercedes-Benz EQA
Serving as the newly revealed line’s base model is the Mercedes-Benz EQA.
The compact crossover is based on the GLA: the marque’s small sport utility vehicle that is internal combustion engine-powered.
Equipped in the Mercedes-Benz EQA are the black panel radiator grille with central star, new 19-inch five-spoke light-alloy wheels Electric Art Design, LED headlamps with EQ-specific energy blue element with high beam assist.
In addition, customers can enjoy keyless go system, hands-free access to the rear cargo area, and 340 liters of boot space.
Inside the cabin are the ambient lighting in spiral-look trim elements that can be configured in 64 colors, an all-digital cockpit with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, and a wireless charging dock.
Included in the EQA is the MBUX infotainment system (Mercedes-Benz User Experience), Artico leather seats.
Its host of safety technologies consists of Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, and a reversing camera.
The Mercedes-Benz EQA 250 Electric Art has an introductory retail price of P3.99 million.
Mercedes-Benz EQB
The Mercedes-Benz EQB, which is closely related to the GLB, also wears the same black panel grille with central star and boasts a full-width LED light strip at the front and rear. The full LED headlamps have blue color highlights and the red rear lighting spans the wide power liftgate.
Further, the Mercedes-Benz EQB sits on 19-inch five-spoke light-alloy wheels with Electric Art Design.
For its interior, the Mercedes-Benz EQB's cabin comes with big digital displays, a 64-color ambient lighting, rose gold-colored elements as well as tubular trimmings.
It also has the MBUX program to match the reconfigurable digital instruments including EQ-specific displays and designs.

Lastly, the Mercedes-Benz EQE is the E-Class’ EV counterpart. The electrified executive midsize sedan is available in two variants: the 300 Electric Art and EQE 350+ AMG Line.
The Mercedes-Benz EQE’s exterior design features a soft, tapering roofline and 20-inch wheels. The five-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels in Electric Art design are for the EQE 300, while the EQE 350+ has AMG five-twin-spoke light-alloys.
Just like the other two, the car has a black panel radiator grille with the star sitting in the middle. To its side are black-grained finished skirts with silver chrome door trim strips.
Passengers are expected to appreciate the OLED central display 12.8-inch screen and 12.3-inch driver display, Burmester 3D surround sound system with 15 speakers, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity and wireless smartphone charging.
Other technologies for the EQE vehicles are the Mercedes-Benz Driving Assistance Package, active steering assist, active blind spot assist, active lane keep assist, attention assist, to match the Presafe system.
