Family man wins P20K in first draw of 'ZigWheels of Fortune'

MANILA: As Joseph Raphael Lacurom Enriquez acquired a brand-new vehicle for himself and his family through ZIGWHEELS.PH, — he has also won P20,000 in the first draw of this auto buying portal's  "ZigWheels of Fortune" promo. 

In the "ZigWheels of Fortune" promo, Carbay Philippines, Inc — which owns and operates digital automotive portals ZIGWHEELS PHILIPPINES and CARMUDI PHILIPPINES — is raffling off P20,000 cash to car buyers who use the websites to make their transactions.

Each customer who inquires for a vehicle purchase through either of the two websites, and is endorsed by a Carbay Philippines representative to any of the company's partner dealerships, can get a chance to win the prize.

For the second draw of the promo, the customer should complete the purchase any time until August 31, 2022. Winners will receive the P20,000 tax-free in his or her GCash account, or to a nominated account of the winner’s choosing.

In an exclusive interview, newly minted winner Enriquez shed light onto why he chose ZigWheels.ph in purchasing a 2022 Kia Stonic EX AT. According to this father and junior developer, this brand-new Stonic is the first car that will be used by him and his family.

"We chose ZigWheels because their website is so user friendly, especially when we are trying to filter the selection of cars by price range, down payment, transmission, brands... It really helped us decide what to pick based on the filters," Enriquez praised. 

The ZigWheels of Fortune winner also commended the sales team of this auto buying portal: "Our overall experience with ZigWheels is excellent. From our inquiries (and) questions, they are very responsive (in helping us find) the best deals and promos," he expressed.

Meanwhile, the 2022 Kia Stonic EX AT fulfilled what Enriquez was looking for in a personal and family runabout.

"We chose this car because it has a higher ground clearance which is 185 millimeters... where usually most cars within our budget range of P1 million pesos below has a ground clearance of 135mm to 150mm," he explained. 

Enriquez added that what sold him on the car is its list features such as reversing sensors and camera, standard dual airbags, and eight-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Not to mention, the Stonic sports a "spacious interior for its size" and "overall youthful looks."

The first draw of the ZigWheels of Fortune was held last June 8 at the Carbay Philippines offices in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig,  in the presence of a Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representative.  

The second draw will happen on September 7, 2022, at the same venue and again in the presence of a DTI rep.
