Ferruccio Lamborghini inducted into Automotive Hall of Fame

MANILA: A varied collection of automotive and mobility pioneers from all over the world, including the renowned Ferruccio Lamborghini, were inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame on July 21. Top automotive executives and VIPs gathered at The Icon on the Detroit waterfront to celebrate the Hall of Fame. 

In addition to helping found Automobili Lamborghini in 1963, Ferruccio Lamborghini was also responsible for the development of the Miura and the Countach, two of the brand's most recognizable cars. Ferruccio always took a risk because he believed that by constantly trying to improve, he could accomplish the unexpected. His pioneering and enterprising drive still forms the foundation of the company today. 

Automobili Lamborghini Americas CEO Andrea Baldi attended the ceremony to accept this accolade on Lamborghini's behalf. In the Hall of Honor at the Automotive Hall of Fame, where visitors honor the people whose automotive ideas have revolutionized our way of life, Ferruccio Lamborghini's autograph has been engraved into marble. 

Founded in 1939, the Automotive Hall of Fame (AHF) is a non-profit organization that honors and celebrates leaders and innovators in the automotive and mobility industry. The awards aim to challenge young and old alike to higher levels of personal achievement, while the accolades have honored 757 awardees from around the world.

Those who have impacted and influenced the automotive and mobility industries can be honored at The Automotive Hall of Fame located at Oakwood Blvd in Dearborn, Michigan, USA.
