Firms to end oil-price-hike streak
Reductions as big as P0.90/L
MANILA: Fuel companies in the Philippines shall end the string of price hikes that have been occurring in the past weeks.

This week, oil firms will trim down the pricing of gasoline by P0.85 per liter; diesel by P0.75 per liter; and kerosene, P0.90 per liter.When will the adjustments take effect?
The adjustments will be on November 19, 2024.Based on their respective advisories, Cleanfuel, Caltex, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil will trim down the prices of gasoline products by P0.85 per liter and diesel by P0.75 per liter.
Meanwhile, firms that offer kerosene will implement a pump price cut of P0.90 per liter.
The adjustments shall take effect tomorrow (November 19).
Last week, prices of gasoline went up by P1.50 per liter, diesel by P2.10 per liter, and kerosene by P1.20 per lite. Prior to that, the price of diesel already went up by P0.70 per liter and kerosene by P0.50 per liter while gasoline slid down by P0.10 per liter.
