Ford PH envisions to be regional parts hub with opening of parts warehouse
MANILA: Ford Philippines recently inaugurated a new parts warehouse facility to help enhance its parts accessibility and availability, and improve the Ford ownership experience.
The new parts warehouse facility will supply up to 30% more parts from the brand’s current inventory. The additional space will accommodate the service parts for the current Ford lineup, including the newer Ford models such as the F-150, Transit, Territory, and the Ranger FX4 Max.
With this new facility, Ford Philippines aims to become a major parts hub, supplying car parts to Ford markets in the ASEAN region including Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar.
In a statement, Ford Customer Service Division Director Joyce Laxamana said, “At Ford, we aim to treat our customers like family. We recognize that parts accessibility is very important for our customers and in the overall ownership experience. With the expansion of our parts warehouse facility, we are able to better serve our customers and improve their after-sales experience when it comes to parts availability.”
Ford also targets to make parts ordering and delivery faster and more efficient through its nationwide direct delivery and same-day delivery programs. With nationwide direct delivery, Ford can now deliver parts straight to all 50 dealers nationwide. They are also able to deliver parts ordered before 12 noon within the same day through the same-day delivery program.
Laxamana added, “We aim to continuously improve on our parts delivery process to expedite the servicing and maintenance of Ford vehicles in our showrooms while maintaining the Ford brand of quality service.”
