Ford PH sales grow by 24% in 2022
MANILA: Ford continues to be one of the leading car brands in the Philippines, reporting a 24% year-over-year sales increase in 2022 with 24,710 units sold.

In 2022, Ford Philippines launched an online reservation platform as well as FordPass. Positioned as the smartest and most capable Ranger ever, the next-generation Ford Ranger arrived in the Philippines last year. It continues to impress Filipino customers with its improved capability and advanced technologies.
The Ford Everest, on the other hand, recorded a 99% sales increase with 3,534 units sold. The next-generation Ford Everest has been known for its rugged yet sophisticated looks and customer-centric technology.
Meanwhile, the Ford Territory continued to be the best-selling compact SUV in the Philippines, reporting a 35% sales increase with 9,269 units sold and a strong market share of 51%. In September 2022, the Ford Territory reached its 15,000th sales milestone.
In December alone, Ford Philippines sold 3,260 units, 76% higher versus the same month in 2021. 1,566 units of Ford Ranger were sold, marking its highest retail performance since it arrived in the country in July.
“It was a milestone year for Ford Philippines in 2022 with the launch of our next-generation Ford Ranger and Everest and the continued success of our Ford Territory, including a number of customer engagement initiatives that allowed us to enhance the Ford purchase and ownership experience. We thank our dealers for their partnership, our employees for their passion and dedication to serve, and our customers for their trust and confidence in Ford,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen stated.
To further strengthen its customer engagement, Ford Philippines also launched its online reservation platform in 2022. It guaranteed a safe and convenient vehicle reservation experience for tech-savvy customers. The portal was able to garner around 1,500 vehicle reservations and over 5,000 vehicle quote requests in 2022.
Owners of next-generation Ford Ranger and Ford Everest are also now enjoying an upgraded and more convenient ownership experience with FordPass, which was also launched last year. FordPass is a one-stop platform that allows vehicles with FordPass Connect, or a cellular modem that contains an e-SIM, access remote control functionalities like remote start/stop, lock/unlock, and fuel level check.
FordPass can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It is compatible with mobile devices running iOS 14.0 and above as well as Android 7.0 and above.
The Ford Island Conquest (FIC) experiential test drive event also made its comeback last year, allowing customers to see and test drive Ford vehicles outside a showroom. Seven legs were conducted across the country, with over 2,600 test drives and over 1,200 reservations made.
This January, Ford Philippines offers special deals on its best-selling models. The Ford Territory can now be driven home for P149,000 all-in down payment with a free three-year scheduled service plan. The Ford Ranger XLS 4x2 MT can be availed for P105,000 all-in down payment, while the Ford Ranger XLS 4x2 AT is now available for P99,999 all-in down payment.
