Foton PH boosts customer experience with new after-sales programs

MANILA: Foton Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) launched its newest set of premium after-sales service programs that aims to upgrade the quality of the brand's customer and client service nationwide.

In a statement, FMPI President Rommel Sytin said, “Since we started operations, we have been committed to always bring the top levels of mobility, and we see its fulfillment through a stronger, intensified after-sales service.”

The programs were developed to provide first-class service for its corporate clients, start-up entrepreneurs, and individual customers.

Foton has introduced its Free Extended Engine Warranty Promo for owners of Gratour series and passenger vehicle units, including Toano, TransVan, Traveller and Thunder, that were purchased from January 2018 onwards. If the general warranty has already expired, the owner must bring the unit to any Foton dealer for service until December 31 to avail of the free extended engine warranty. The warranty promo is applicable for units with preventive maintenance schedule (PMS) interval of every six months or 10,000 km (whichever comes first) and free additional six months or 10,000 km extended engine warranty upon the completion of PMS. The promo is also applied to Foton vehicle units with PMS interval of every three months or 5,000 km (whichever comes first) and free additional three months or 5,000 km extended engine warranty upon the completion of PMS.

Also included in Foton’s newest set of after-sales programs is the EC Mobile 24/7 On-Site Service that offers immediate mechanical assistance for Foton units in any part of the country. Customers can reach out to the 24/7 hotline for urgent service needs. They can avail any of the program’s services including PMS, on-board electronic trouble diagnosing, air-conditioning repairs, engine electrical repairs, mechanical repairs, under chassis repairs, and 24/7 on-site service for vehicle breakdowns. Foton will be sending an EC Mobile Truck with essential equipment including a 3.5-kilowatt generator set, a 1.5 hp air compressor, an impact wrench, oil pans, and hand tool sets for mechanical issues, electrical repairs, and PMS.

To help its customers in this challenging pandemic, Foton introduced its EC Genuine Parts Discount Promo. Foton has marked down the prices of its spare parts this March. The promo covers maintenance parts and major components on engine, electrical and mechanical, clutch, underchassis and suspension, brakes, aircon, and body parts. The spare parts are stored and maintained in an ISO-certified warehouse that can accommodate up to 45,000 items. Foton EC-Genuine Parts are available at any authorized Foton dealership nationwide. Lastly, Foton gives away a service discount voucher for every vehicle service availed for Gratour trucks, passenger vehicles, and light duty trucks with repair cost amounting to P4,000 above. The discount voucher can be used up to one year from the issuance date for PMS, general job and body and paint services. This is applicable for appointments, walk-ins, and on-site service customers. The service voucher also comes with a free Foton umbrella.
