Foton PH expands reach with new Iloilo dealership

MANILA: Foton, a noted truck and commercial vehicle specialist, continuously reinforces its presence nationwide as it opens another dealership in Western Visayas, specifically in Iloilo.

The state-of-the-art new dealership is operated by Ang's Automotive Inc., a company under the ALA Group of Companies, which boasts 40 years of car dealership experience with various automotive brands.

Dealer principal Tonton Ang said that they welcomed the Foton brand due to the trust that has been established with the people behind the quality and distribution of its vehicles.  He also added that there are a few distributors that emphasize on sales alone and not on after-sales services. This makes UAAGI, the official distributor of Foton Philippines, a cut among the rest.

Ang expressed his fascination when he visited the modern and spacious 11-hectare assembly facility of Foton in Clark, Pampanga. It has three primary facilities for the product operations of the brand, including body fabrication, unit assembly, and parts warehouse and pre-delivery inspection.

The vision of Ang is to improve Foton for it to become one of the most reliable Chinese brands in Iloilo and demonstrate how it can be competitive along with some of the leading brands in the truck and car sectors.

The vehicles are currently available for Ilonggos to explore and test drive through the temporary Foton showroom that is compliant to government-enforced safety and health measures. The showroom can be visited at #38 Luna Street, La Paz, Iloilo City.
