Fuel companies to impose major rollbacks this week

MANILA: Fuel players in the Philippines are set to reduce the pricing of their products at the pump this week.

The movements in pricing will become effective starting tomorrow September 10, 2024Based on their respective advisories, Cleanfuel, Caltex, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil stated that they will trim down the retail price of gasoline products by P1.55 per liter and diesel by P1.30 per liter.
In addition, kerosene shall also slide by P1.40 per liter as announced by Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil.
The aforementioned adjustment in the retail prices — which other companies are expected to similarly implement — will take effect starting tomorrow (September 10).
Last week, local oil firms jacked up the price of gasoline products by P0.50 per liter, diesel by P0.30 per liter, and kerosene by P0.70 per liter.
